Is it free?

The Personal plan is free and has no ads: one phone, push notifications, the full Send API. Teams get the Business plan; see plans.

What happens when a Business plan expires?

A Business plan is paid until 23:59:59 UTC on its last paid day. After that, everything keeps working for 3 more days. Then the company works like Personal: alerts are still received, stored and shown in the apps, but only the owner's phone (the newest one) gets the pushes, with no phone calls, SMS or escalation. The owner is told by push and email 7 days and 1 day before, at expiry, on each day of grace, and when it stops. Renewing on the Plan page brings everything back at once.

Why didn't my phone make a sound?

Your phone sounds at most once a minute, so a burst of alerts doesn't ring nonstop. The rest arrive silently and are still in the app. Also check that notifications for ZapaPUSH are on in your phone's settings, and that Focus or Do Not Disturb isn't hiding them.

I'm not getting any pushes

Open Settings in the app and tap Send TEST notification. If that arrives, check what your sender gets back: a 404 means the key is wrong (did you rotate it?), a 429 or 403 means you hit the limits.

Can someone else send to my phone?

Only with your key. If you think it leaked, tap Rotate your KEY in Settings; the old one stops working at once. Prefer the X-ZapaPush-Key header over putting the key in a URL.

How do I get my key onto my computer?

In the app's Settings, tap Pair a laptop and type the 6-digit code at zapapush.com/pair, or tap Email me my key. On a Mac with the same Apple ID, Copy on the phone and paste on the Mac.

How long are alerts kept?

Open and acked alerts stay until you close them. Closed alerts are deleted 7 days after they were closed.

Can I use it on more than one phone?

Personal is one phone: signing in on a new phone moves your alerts there, and the old one stops getting pushes. The Business plan has a license per phone and unlimited groups and members.

How do I add or change my email?

Open the menu (☰) → Settings, then Add email (or Change email) on the Account card. We email a 6-digit code to the address; enter it in the app and the address is saved. You can then sign in with it by email code, and use Email me my key. If you signed in with Apple and chose not to share your email, this is how to add one.

What does ZapaPUSH store about me?

Your email, your phone's push token, and the alerts you send. Details are in the privacy policy. To delete everything, including your email: Settings → Delete account.
